Specialist Pathway Fri 26/11/10

Today we had a presentation for our "SEEN Magazine" project. I don't really delight with my final outcome that much as I think I could do better than I've done. Also I felt I didn't manage my time well. Jame also said I could improve this and he gave me some advice in what I should do to make it looks better which I agree with him. Then he gave us a new brief. This time we need to design a cover for "One Hundred Year Of Solitude" book. I don't really understand what this book about. But as soon as I get the book and read it, I should be able to understand more.

Specialist Pathway Wed 24/11/10

Today we were with Oli and we were continuing with our identity logo. For my logo I think I quite happy with it as I think it's look nice and it identified myself as well. Then before we finished our session Oli asked us to think of 3 website that I like and dislike for next week session.

Today we were with James. He looked at my work and he said I need to improve it as I agree with him though. I don't really like my layout design that much as I think I did't put much effete into it. I need to work really hard this weekend and try to get everything right and finish before next friday for presentation. What I need to do now is finish my two layouts and magazine cover. Then I should be ok.

i was talking to James about my masthead today, and he said he like the one with SE and EN at the bottom the most as well as the one with two "E" on the right. He said I need to experiment more on those two designed and see which work well the most. Also I was talking with him about article that i'm going to do which is Car article and music. So he gave me some advice in what I should do and what he expected to see. He shown me a book called "Love Magazine" which I think it's very useful and good to looked at. It's give me more ideas in what I'm going to do for my magazine layout.

I was talking to Malcolm today about my"SEEN" masthead and he give me some advice which one I could develop on. I think I need to work really hard to get my masthead done and focus more on my article. Then I did more ideas on screen which i think it looked much better and also I have to try it on example of magazine though.

Specialist Pathway Fri 05/11/10

We were with James today and he asked us to come up with ideas for"SEEN" magazine, put on the wall and ready for presentation. Also think about article you want to write on your double page spreads. So I did some more ideas for SEEN magazine masthead but none of my ideas doesn't seem to work. So I need to think about it again and redo it. James came and talk to me and gave me some ideas which I felt very helpful and now I know what am I doing and what ideas will be. But I have to try it on paper then put them on screen to see whether it work well.

Today morning we started off with Melcum. He looked at my work and gave me some advice what type of magazine I need to look at and what I need to do next. Then we got Oli after that, and we just continue with our business cards and some identity design. But our business cards design need to be done before next Wednesday so we could focus on our identity design.

Specialist Pathway Tue 02/11/10

Today we were at Wise with Melcum. I did some ideas for"SEEN" magazine masthead but it seem to be none of my ideas are standout to be develop. So I went to library did some more research. then in the afternoon Melcum suggested us to go to Brower Ashton's library and do more research. At the end of the day I found it very useful to used the library as it have more magazine to look at.
